Finally, the Cloak's antics get a small smile and wave out of her. "Hello to you too," she says, feeling a tiny bit braver. "And it's Wanda."

Okay, she's thought about points of escape already (bailing out the window seems the most promising if they do try to call the police on her), but looking around, she's pretty sure they can't hand her over without exposing themselves. It's oddly comforting; if she is already out of her depth then she can only imagine what Ross would have to say about a place like this.

Wanda reaches for her cup and just holds it for a moment, savoring the small amount of warmth. "Yes. Somehow," she murmurs, finally looking up from the rising steam. That's not common knowledge. Maybe this hadn't been a mistake after all.

But when Stephen summons the illusory globe, Wanda's eyes finally light up with true, unadulterated wonder, beyond what even the Cloak could evoke. There, there's the same flavor of power she'd felt earlier. "How are you doing that? I thought I was the only one. The only human," she adds quickly. The twins were the only ones HYDRA had been aware of - Strucker was a liar, but his fascination with the Maximoffs had been real.

"You've seen the news? I..." Her gaze drops to her hands. The others should never have been put in the Raft, but there are times Wanda starts to think that maybe she had deserved it. "I don't want to hurt anyone again."
